Exemption ('aquietancia') for a ship of St Thomas with wine and other things bought for the use of the monks in 'maanthe' and 'maysuns', as far as he can ('quantum ad me pertinet'), except the tithe of the monks of St Mary 'de columps'. When the ship crosses, the monk or his servant shall give a knife ('cnipulum'), without gold and silver, to the bailiff ('bailivus') of 'maanthe' and another knife, without gold and silver, to the bailiff of 'maisuns', for all customs duty, as a sign and recognition of the exemption. The grant is made for the love of God and St Mary and St Thomas and for the souls of himself, his wife and sons and all his predecessors. Made in the priory's chapter house. No date.
