Description | From: Alice widow of Godfrey atte wetere of Elverton To: the prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory
For her claim by way of free bench in ½ an acre and ½ a virgate of land which fell to her after the death of Godfrey, her husband, lying in Elverton in Stone [by Faversham] parish in the priory's holding in the field called 'pytteslonde', lying with the land of Robert Joce, John Gunnore [and] Richard godesgrace to north, the land of William sparewe to south, the lane called 'godeslane' to west and the land of the heirs of Thomas of Elverton to east.
