Sibyl demises and quitclaims for the whole of her free bench which fell to her after the death of Thomas, her husband, for all kinds of property in the vill ('villa') of Elverton [in Stone by Faversham]. For an annual payment of 40s, payable as specified in the priory's treasury at Canterbury, for the term of her life, provided she remains unmarried. In return, the priory grants her a house in St Mary Northgate parish, Canterbury, with 1 cartload of wood a year, to be carried at the priory's cost. The priory also agrees to repair the house when necessary. Sibyl's part of indenture sealed with Thomas de Ringmere's seal with the consent of the chapter.
