Description | From: William son of Robert of Elverton To: the prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory
½ an acre and 3 dayworks ('deiwerca') of land lying in the holding ('tenementum') of Elverton [in Stone by Faversham] in the west part of William's field next to the road ('cheminum') with the land of Lefwin of Elverton to south. For an annual payment of ½d, payable as specified in the priory's treasury at Canterbury. For this the priory has also paid 34s as a gersum fine. Made and recorded at the priory's court at Canterbury. No date. [Date: handwriting and witnesses to other charters.]
