DescriptionFrom: Robert son of Thomas of Elverton
To: the treasurers of Canterbury Cathedral Priory

All the lands, tenements, meadows, pastures, rents reliefs and homages which he has in the holding of Elverton [in Stone by Faversham] after the death of Thomas, his father, and the whole of the land which he has by an exchange with the treasurers in Elverton. For a term of 7 years. For an annual payment of 41s 8d, payable as specified in the priory's treasury. The treasurers shall hold all Robert's pasture in the marsh of Elverton for the term of 7 years and receive all the rents and reliefs which are owed to him. In return, they will remit the rents and reliefs which he owes for the lands and tenements for 7 years. Robert will not alienate the lands in any way during the 7 years except with the advice and consent of the treasurers, on penalty of paying 20s to the Holy Land. Right to re-enter the lands and receive the profits from them if payment in arrears.
