Most of property description and several witnesses' names supplied from registered version.] ½ an acre of land lying in Stone [by Faversham] parish in the place called 'Hewescroft' with the street leading to the marsh of the prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory to east, the priory's garden and the land of John le hewe to west, the street leading to the priory's courtyard ('Curia') to south and the priory's garden to north, which ½ acre of land Seman bought of Philip le hewe. For this Bertram has paid 40s as a gersum fine. No date. [Date: handwriting.] Original dated Mon after St Edward the king's day, 6EdwII.
