To: the treasurers of Canterbury Cathedral Priory

½ an acre of land lying in Stone [by Faversham] parish in the holding of Elverton, with the land of the heirs of Roger de aqua to south and north, the land of William barun to east and the land of Roger's heirs to west. For a term of 9 years, for a reduction of 8d a year from a payment of 15s 4d which the treasurers have paid him. William is bound to repay the rest of the money at the end of the term and if he fails to do so the land shall remain to the treasurers from year to year, reducing the debt by 9d a year until the whole amount is repaid. If the money is repaid at the end of the term, the treasurers shall cause the land to be delivered to William. If the land needs to be sold or leased again after the term, the treasurers shall have first refusal.
