The priory's holding ('tenementum') of Elham, both arable and non-arable, which Richard of Canter Wood ('Canterwurde') [in Elham] held of it. For an annual payment of 60s, payable as specified. For this William has paid 20 marks. The grant is made with the consent of Walter, bishop of Rochester. No date. [Date: Walter's dates. C Flight, The bishops and monks of Rochester 1076-1214 (Kent Archaeological Society Monographs VI, 1997), p241, states that that Ernulph occurs in 1174x1180.]
