Condition against tenure by religious men. For annual payments of 12d to the chapter of Exeter Cathedral and a pair of white gloves or 1d to Hugh, both payable as specified. For this Walter has given Hugh a green tunic in the full hundred court and has paid Beatrix, Hugh's wife, 12s. The grant is made with Beatrix's consent and the consent of Hugh's heirs. No date.
