1 acre of land, lying between the land which was of Richard Balrich and the land of the two sisters Alice and Susanna and between the king's highway and the stream called 'Langebrok' outside the east gate of the city of Exeter. Condition against tenure by religious men. For annual payments of 12d to the chapter of Exeter Cathedral and a pair of white gloves or 1d to Hugh, both payable as specified. For this Walter has given Hugh a green tunic in the full hundred court and has paid Beatrix, Hugh's wife, 12s. The grant is made with Beatrix's consent and the consent of Hugh's heirs. No date.
