DescriptionRental and custumal for the manor of Eastry, newly composed but taken from the ancient roll. Begins with summary of lands by sulung, giving tenants' names and acreages of their holdings. Tenants' names, minor place names, amounts of payment and details of labour services, such as ploughing, harrowing and carting, and other customary payments and services given. Payment are in money, hens, eggs and ploughshares. No date. [Date: handwriting.]

Endorsed with note of total acreage, ?total amount of rent and money equivalents of some services and payments in kind in early 14th cent hands.
