An annual payment of 5d, payable as specified by Stephen the Fleming ('Flandrensis') of Sandwich for 4 acres of land in 'Goldburtheteathe' next the hospital of Sandwich [St Bartholomew's Hospital?] in one furlong ('sulcus') and ½ an acre of land which lies on the other side of the king's highway towards 'Langemed'. Made and recorded at Eastry court and afterwards at the prior's court in Canterbury. The grant is made for his soul and the souls of his ancestors. No date. [Date: handwriting and witnesses to other Eastry charters.]
