The priory shall retain the wood ('Nemus') which lies south of the stream which runs east from the land called Hemsted [in Benenden] as far as the last stream to east which crosses ('descendit extransverso') the wood from the land of the monks of Robertsbridge Priory called Maplesden [in Benenden] and falls into the stream which comes from Hemsted. The priory shall also retain the small wood which is to east next to 'Eslindenne' and 'Beketilthe' except for 2 acres and 3 virgates of land which shall remain to the men of the denn of Walkhurst.
