The whole of his land of Langdon which he bought of Ragenild ('Reynilda') daughter of Richard, Simon, Richard's son ('filius eius'), and Thorold son of Ralph, namely a messuage with buildings and 2 acres of arable land lying in 2 pieces with the messuage to north, one piece lying with the garden of Ralph son of Osbert to west and the land of Thorold son of Ralph to east and the other lying with the land of Baldwin the parmenter ('parmentarius') to west and the land of Nicholas son of Edith to east, 36 perches long and 5 perches wide. Also an annual payment of 2 hens, payable as specified by John the weaver ('textor') of Eastry, Thomas's brother, for the portion of Thomas's inheritance in Eastry. For an annual payment of 1d as a quit-rent ('forisgabulum'), payable as specified in the priory's house at Langdon by the keeper ('custos') of the land.
