½ an acre of land lying in Elverton [in Stone by Faveraham] in a field called 'Peltebemmis croft', lying with the way which leads from the stile ('scala') of Osbert Curteys to the messuage of John Alexandri to north, Seman's land to south, the land of John Alexandri to east and the land of Robert son of Sibyl to west. For a term of 4 years for a reduction of 2s a year from 28s which the treasurers have paid him. If Seman cannot repay the remaining 20s at the end of term, the treasurers shall retain the land from year to year, reducing the debt by 2s a year until the whole amount is repaid.
