6½ acres of land at Craythorne [in Tilmanstone] in the holding of Eastry lying in 5 pieces, of which one lies at 'Colehelle' with the land of the heirs of Walter, Nigel's brother, to south and west, the priory's pasture to north and the land of Barville ('Barefeld') [in Tilmanstone] to east, the second piece lies next to the thorn ('spina') of 'Hemstede' with the land of 'Dominus' Henry de fugieres to east and the land which was of Alan of Craythorne to west, the third piece lies at 'Shortfere' in the valley ('vallis') of Craythorne with Alan's lands to east and west, the priory's land to south and the priory's land and Nigel's land to north, and the fourth and fifth pieces lie on the hill ('mons') between Craythorne and the church? ('celli'a'?) of Eythorne, of which one lies next with the acre of the heirs of Edward of Langdon to east and the other to west. Also an annual payment of 6d free rent, payable as specified by Nicholas of Elvington [in Eythorne] for 1 acre of land lying between Craythorne and Elvington, with Alan's land to east and south, the land of Osbert the smith ('faber') to north and the land of the said Nicholas to west. Also an annual payment of 15d free rent and 4 hens, payable as specified by John son of Gilbert of 'Encheregge' for 2 acres of land lying in 2 pieces between Craythorne and 'Encheregge' at 'Westedune', of which 1 acre lies next to the acre which John held of Alan of Craythorne to east and the other to the west, the priory's land to south and the land of Richard of Elvington to north. Also an annual payment of 4s, payable as specified by Nigel to the priory's treasury at Canterbury for the rest of his inheritance at Craythorne. For an annual payment of 1d, payable as specified in the priory's house at Langdon by its manor warden ('custos'). For this the priory has also paid 100s as a gersum fine. Dated 1234, no month.
