To: the prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory

Robert is bound to pay the priory an annual payment of 4s, payable as specified in the priory's treasury at Canterbury by Serle, Thomas the smith ('faber') and the heirs of Luke of Elvington [in Eythorne] for 30 acres of Robert's land at Craythorne [in Tilmanstone] in the holding of Eastry. This acknowledgement shall not prejudice any other rents, services or customs which Robert owes to the treasury or to the court of Eastry for his tenement. For this the priory has also paid 2½ marks as a gersum fine. Dated 1232, no month.
