Parts of some witnesses' names uspplied from registered version.] 1 rood of land with its crop, lying in Stone next Ospringe parish at Elverton in a field called 'Gatewardesfelde' which Seman bought of John and William sons of Osbert atte Steghele of Elverton, which land lies with Seman's land to south and west, a lane called 'Gatewardeslane' to north and the land of the heirs of John Alysaundr' to east. Given at Canterbury.
