CCA-DCc-ChAnt/D/20-37 These charters relate to the manor of Doccombe in Moreton Hampstead parish in Devon. Doccombe lies on the edge of Dartmoor, some 10 miles west of Exeter. The manor was granted to Canterbury Cathedral Priory by William de Traci, one of Becket's murderers, in about 1174 (see DCc-ChAnt/D/20). DCc/Register/B, ff392r-394r, contains 10 charters for Doccombe and there are 3 charters relating to Doccombe in DCc/Register/E, f395r.
