Description | From: the proctor of the prior and chapter of Canterbury Cathedral Priory
Exceptions relating to the case between the cathedral priory and the subprior and convent of Dover Priory, [concerning the cathedral priory's claim to sede vacante jurisdiction over Dover]. Includes references to the broken composition between the two houses and the excommunication imposed on Dover Priory by Geoffrey [of Romney]. Also mentions Robert Kilwardby, archbishop of Canterbury. No date. [Date: presumably after the exceptions proposed in early 1275 (DCc-ChAnt/D/44A and DCc-ChAnt/D/56), which contain none of these exceptions.]
