The archbishop is the principal papal judge delegate in cases between the subprior and convent of Dover Priory, represented by Robert of Canterbury, the subprior, as their proctor, and the prior and chapter of Canterbury Cathedral Priory and Geoffrey of Romney, monk of the same church, whose proctor is Mgr Walter de Tremfeld'. 26 Mar had been appointed as the day for the parties to hear the interlocutory sentence concerning certain exceptions. Details of the exceptions and Walter's objections made to them. Details of a new exception made concerning the cathedral priory's expenses [as in DCc-ChAnt/D/44A.], referring to Dover Priory's contumacy in wishing the case to remain at the papal court. The dean decided not to admit that exception but appointed 1 May as the next day of the hearing concerning the exceptions.
