The archbishop ordered the archdeacon of Canterbury to cite the prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory and Geoffrey of Romney, priory monk, to appear before him or his commissary in the church of St Mary-le-Bow on 15 Sep in a case between themselves and the subprior and convent of Dover Priory. The cathedral priory was cited, but the dean of Arches was absent on that day, so nothing could be done. William therefore orders the rural dean to cite the prior and convent and Geoffrey to appear before him in St Mary-le-Bow church on 13 Oct.
