John is in possession of a piece of land containing 10 acres. William quitclaims to John for the land, which lies in St Martin's parish next Canterbury with the land of the prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory to south and east, the land of John Stonstrete to north and the king's highway leading to Fordwich to west, which piece of land William had of the gift of John Pycard of Canterbury and Sara, his wife, as appears in a charter which they made to him in 21RicII [1397-1398]. John Stonstrete has received the profits from the piece of land from the date of the feoffment onwards. |
