The priory has 5 acres of meadow of Walter's demise in St Martin's parish outside Canterbury, for which it paid him 8½ marks, and he is bound to warrant these lands to it. Walter grants that if the priory loses the lands or is ejected from them because of the statute of mortmain he will repay the 8½ marks and grants the priory a right of distraint in all his goods.
