Licence to acquire in mortmain lands, tenements and rents to the annual value of £40. The priory has paid a fine of £200. He remits the fine if it celebrates the obit of [Edward of Woodstock, Prince of Wales,] his father, and the obits of himself and his queen, Anne, after their deaths, and if it spends the money on the cathedral fabric. By writ of privy seal. Sent patent. Clerk given as Scarle.
Given at Westminster [Middlesex].
