During his lifetime, Richard will hold a tenement [lying between?] St Mildred's churchyard and the city wall with the great willow ('salix') to east. For an annual payment of 24d, payable as specified. Richard shall not impede the course or ... of the water and on his death he shall leave the land and a moiety of his chattels to the church. Richard will maintain the weir ('wara') and provide materials at his own expense. The priory promises Richard that it will keep this agreement as long as he swears to keep it faithfully. No date.
