Description | From: Aldith daughter of Henry coppe To: the prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory
Of the sale and grant which Hamo, her brother, made to the priory of 2 pieces of land within Burgate, of which one was of the holding of St Augustine's Abbey and the other lies next to [St Michael's] church of Burgate within the wall to north. Hamo's grant was made and recorded at the priory's capital court ('capitalis curia'), the borough moot of the city of Canterbury and the ward moot of Burgate. For this the priory has paid 2s as a gersum fine. No date. [Date: as in Urry, cited below.]
