A piece of land in St George's parish, Canterbury, lying before the old gaol with the land of Christina longi to east, the land of Thomas de la Teghe and the land of Elias at Readedure to west, Daniel's land to north and the king's highway to south, 69 feet long, 16 feet wide at the south end ('caput') and 31 feet wide at the north end. For an annual payment of 20d, payable as specified. Made and recorded at the hundred court of Newingate. For this Hugh has also paid ½ a mark as a gersum fine. Dated 52HenIII, no month.
