[Document damaged. Several areas of text lost or illegible.] A moiety of Alphege's messuages and lands in 'drutindune' [Old Ruttington Lane] which were of Hugh his father. For an annual payment of 13d, payable as specified. Made and recorded on the same land. For this Henry has also paid 2s as a gersum fine. No date. [Date: handwriting and witnesses to other Canterbury charters.]
