| Description | From: John son of Hubert cauvel of Canterbury To: the prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory
An annual payment of 34d free rent payable by the master ('rector') of Eastbridge Hospital and Robert Berebred for lands which they hold of John in All Saints parish in the city of Canterbury, and an annual payment of 32d, payable by John to the priory for the same lands. For an annual payment of 2d, payable as specified in the priory's treasury. With the priory's consent, the rent is to be assigned for the ornament and use of St John the Evangelist's altar in the cathedral. For this the priory has also paid 2 marks as a gersum fine by the hand of Robert, keeper of the altar ('qui...predicti altaris custodiam habuit'). No date.
