His stone house in St Andrew's parish [Canterbury] which was of John le dodekere, which John sold to William's father Theoricus and which fell to William by inheritance from his father, lying with the land of William Salemie to east, the king's highway to west, the land which was of Goddard upheldere to north and the king's highway to south. For an annual payment of 4d as a quit-rent ('forgabulum'), payable as specified. For this the priory has also paid 30 marks as a gersum fine. The grant is made with the consent of William's brothers, Philip and John. Made and recorded at the borough moot of the city of Canterbury. Sealed with the seals of William, Philip and John [one seal no longer present. Philip or John has used the seal of Matilda widow of Terricus, presumably their mother.] Dated 2HenIII, no month.
