For the right which he sought by the king's writ in the court of the abbot of St Augustine's Abbey, Canterbury, in the stone messuage which was of John pikenot in St Andrew's parish, lying between the king's highway and the land which was of John Hanin, namely that messuage which John pikenot gave to the hospital in free, pure and perpetual alms, as is contained in the charter which John made to the hospital.
