If Constance Spic', sister of St James's Hospital, [Thannington next] Canterbury, or anyone in her name carried out distraints for amercements? ('am'a') or re-enters or repossesses another 3 shops in the same parish and lane on the other side of the king's highway which John bought of Constance, together with the other shop, for arrears of a rent of 6s 8d payable to Constance for life from the 4 shops as specified, which shops Thomas, William and Thomas have of John's gift, Thomas, William and Thomas shall possess the one shop for the whole of the time during which they possess the other 3 shops because no distraint, re-entry or repossession should be made in the 3 shops because they should remain to John's use.
