A tenement called 'le Croune' in St Andrew's parish, Canterbury, lying with the priory's tenement to south, the tenement of Thomas Lane [and?] Thomas Stablegate and the tenement late of William Broune to north and the king's highway to east. The grant is made with the king's licence.

Endorsed with description, stating that the acquisition was made in the time of Prior T[homas] Chillenden, I, and that it was worth £333 6s 8d, and note that the charter is in duplicate in late 14th cent hands. Also endorsed with note that the document was enrolled in the book of charters ('testamentum') in possession of Robert Coupere and John Pirye, bailiffs ('ballivus') of Canterbury 1401-1402 (3HenIV) in early 15th cent hands.
