| Description | From: Thurstan To: Canterbury Cathedral Priory
Of land at Wimbish ('wimbise') [Essex] for his soul and the souls of Leofwaru [probably Thurstan's mother] and Æthelgyth [Thurstan's wife]. Granted for the sustenance of the community after his and Æthelgyth's death. With the annual payment of £1 during their lives. The priory should pay to St Augustine's Abbey £12 or 2 hides. Document made in triplicate, with copies kept by the cathedral priory, the abbey and the testators. No date. [Date: see Whitelock, from whence supplied details. Dated by witness list.]
