3½ acres of meadow in Chartham parish, lying beside Shalmsford bridge, with the River Stour to west, the land which was of Swanild' to east, the king's highway leading to the bridge to south, and 'Pinchovespole' to north. For a term of 20 years, for a payment beforehand of 16 marks. Benedict places his goods for distraint as surety for fulfilment.
