The cathedral priory has complained about the terms of commissions for acquiring provisions for the royal household. This contravenes its liberties, including the protection for the possessions of clergy against royal commissioners, as granted by Edward III in his parliament of 1340. Ordering them to attend to this. Sent patent. Clerk named as Stopyndon. Given at Westminster [Middlesex].
