Their claim against the priory pursued by royal writ concerning ½ ('dimia' [sic]) acre of meadow and ¼ acre in Chartham vill which Nicholas of Shalmsford gave the priory for the use of the almonry. The meadow is in 'Clivesmad' and was once of John, their father. For the almonry, for the use of the poor. No date. [Date: handwriting.]
