With a licence from King Richard II, Thomas granted to the priory 1 messuage, 1 mill, 96 acres of land, 14 acres of meadow, 160 acres of pasture and 30 acres of wood in Little Chart, Pluckley, Hothfield, Pivington, Charing and Westwell. Also by royal licence, the priory granted to Thomas these properties as well as Little Chart manor and a payment of 4s 3d called Anniversary Rent. For an annual payment of £18 4s 3d. Rights of distraint and re-entry. Further conditions of tenure given, including details of patronage of Little Chart church. The priory binds itself in 1000 marks and Thomas in 100 marks. Priory's part of indenture. Notes in Bunce's catalogue that document sent to Ecclesiastical Commissioners in 1863 and returned in 1920.
