He withdraws from the dispute between him and the cathedral priory, its farmers, villeins ('colonus') and tenants ('inquilinus') in Cliffe parish concerning tithes for meadows at 'Redhamme', 'brok' and Westcliffe, for a marsh in Cliffe and for their pasture at 'Strippenholt'. Also concerning other related tithes. Also concerning a watermill and a windmill. His predecessors, Richard de Walingford and Richard de Stratford, had similar disputes concerning tithes. Sealed also with the seal of the Dean of the Arches. Given at London.
