Relates to dispute between 'Dominus' Philip de Wilebi, rector of Cliffe, and the cathedral priory, its farmers, villeins ('colonus') and tenants ('inquilinus'). Philip is claiming tithes for 'Redhamme' meadow, a meadow at Westcliffe, a marsh in Cliffe parish, 'Strippenholt' pastureland, a watermill, a windmill and animals grazing on the marshes.
