Description	Party: Joan widow of Henry of Preston; Henry, son and heir of Henry of Preston Party: the prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory The priory accused them of unjustly obstructing a way beside their land in 'Baldyneland' in Preston vill by erecting ditches. The priory perpetrated a writ of novel disseisin. They grant the priory free right of driving beasts through their land. This droveway is 3 ells wide and 33 rods 3 feet long. Lying with the priory's land called 'Southdonne' to east and their land called 'Baldyneland' to west. Witnesses: Richard de Morton; William Freynsshe; William White; Robert de Derteforde; John de Rysshebourn'; Richard de Kenynton'; John de Frechenestede; Simon de Grandau' Endorsed with description in contemporary hand. Droveway described as leading to Copton manor.
