The priory accused them of unjustly obstructing a way beside their land in 'Baldyneland' in Preston vill by erecting ditches. The priory perpetrated a writ of novel disseisin. They grant the priory free right of driving beasts through their land. This droveway is 3 ells wide and 33 rods 3 feet long. Lying with the priory's land called 'Southdonne' to east and their land called 'Baldyneland' to west.

Endorsed with description in contemporary hand. Droveway described as leading to Copton manor.
