Addressed to his bishops, earls, thanes, sheriffs and other subjects, English and French, in shires in which Archbishop Theobald and the cathedral priory hold land. Ordering that the priory should hold its lands and liberties as it did under Edward the Confessor, William I and Henry I.
(2) Grant by G[eoffrey, II], prior, to William of Southchurch of Southchurch vill, as in DCc-ChAnt/S/6 and DCc-ChAnt/S/7, datable to 1191x1213. For an annual payment of £20. Details of timber rights. Document made in triplicate with copies kept by both parties and third copy kept at Faversham.
