DescriptionOf grants of manors and churches made to the cathedral priory. Beginning with grants of manors and other land, in date order, dating from 597 to 1393-4 (17RicII). Then grants of churches, dating from time of Hubert Walter [archbishop 1193-1205] to 1400/1. With place-names as marginal headings. Written on recto and verso. Description in English in 17th cent hand. Written on strips trimmed from base of folio volume, possibly service book, with text in 2 columns. Some of bottom line of text survives, which includes elaborate initials and use of red and blue ink. No date. [Date: handwriting.]
