Ordaining that neither the archdeacon of Canterbury nor any of the archbishop's clerks should have rights in the priory's chapter. When he attends the chapter, the archdeacon should sit on the archbishop's footstool, as did Archdeacons Asketin, William and Helewise. Also abolishing a custom by which the monks roofed the archbishop's palace. [Date: dates of Wibert and Theobald.]
