John has received a marsh called 'lobbynge' [in Cliffe at Hoo], with 3 acres of arable land and 75 ewes, price 18d each, from the priory. For a term of 3 years. For an annual payment of 33s 4d with the tithe ('decima'), payable as specified in the priory's manor of Cliffe. Conditions on maintaining the marshes and other conditions. Right of distraint for payment. John has found - dully and - hawe [surnames only given] of Cliffe parish as sureties and binds himself to observe the terms of the lease.

Endorsed with notes relating to similar indentures to be made for leases of other marshes at Cliffe, an additional clause relating to the maintenance of 'Inmerke' and notes of sums of money in 15th cent hands.
