[Document badly damaged. Large area of text lost. Part of property description and names of several witnesses supplied from registered version.] A twelfth part of the mill of 'childemelne' in the vill ('villa') of Chartham. For this Osbert the monk, the priory's almoner, has paid 3s as a gersum fine and ½ a seam of wheat and ½ a seam of barley. Made and recorded at the capital court ('capitalis curia') of Chartham. No date. [Date: handwriting and witnesses to other Chartham charters.]
