There has been a dispute between the prior and Roger concerning a rent from Roger's lands in [blank in document], Kent. The priory shall receive an annual payment of 35s from Roger's lands. The priory has also claimed 15s for 'Almerslondes', which does not belong to Roger, and he will show the priory who does own it.
The priory grants Roger an annual payment of 8s 4d and a gown of gentleman's livery. Roger may retain 8s 4d and 10s for the gown from the payment of 35s as often as the rent is unpaid or he does not receive the livery. Dated 9HenVII, no month. |
