The archbishop, with the consent of Thomas Goldstone, IV, prior of Canterbury Cathedral Priory, Sir Matthew Broune, knight, Thomas Wode and Thomas Gilbert, aldermen of the city of Canterbury, Thomas Chatborne, chamberlain of the city, Thomas Foxe, sheriff of the city, and Ralph Broune, one of common council of the city, in the name of the mayor and commonalty, appoints John, Edward, Richard and Robert to arbitrate in the disputes between the priory and the city. The parties agree to observe the arbitrators' award, which is to be made by 10 Apr. In the mean time the prior shall continue any suits he has against the city.
