With assent from Canterbury Cathedral Priory, their bishop-elect, Walter of Merton, will be consecrated outside Canterbury, at Gillingham, on 21 Oct. This will not prejudice Canterbury Cathedral Priory. Walter's election has been confirmed by Archbishop Robert [Kilwardby].
