An annual payment of 18d payable for a tenement which was of William son of Walter le Wodekempe outside the east gate of the suburb of the city of Exeter, lying with the tenement in which Stephen son of Richard the skinner ('pellipar'') used to live to east and the tenement which was of Robert de la Fosse to west, and between the king's highway and the tenement which was of William Lasschebagge. William is to hold the payment from 7 Jun to Easter next and then from Easter for a term of 11 years. Walter or whoever holds the tenement which was of Stephen son of Richard the skinner ('pellipar'') adjoining the said tenement in which Stephen held the rent of 18d on 27 May 1305 will warrant the payment. For this William has paid 12s. The lease was agreed on 7 Jun (sic). Given at Exeter [Devon].
